Thank you I just started dealing with anxiety in August it felt like I was having a heart attack but that was not the case it was brought on from the passing of my grandmother but now it just seems to be more consistent like I have a fear of never being able to come out of this it is happening everyday and it’s just depressing I just started a new job and got a promotion soon after but now I can barely make it a day through work

Thank you so much and yes I have my first counseling session this Saturday and I’m currently taking Zoloft and Ativan

Welcome Kimi! If you are struggling with something let us know. We are here to help. All of us with various stages of experience. Some with medical experience as well. If you see someone with something you have then you can contribute your experiences to them if you like. I find that giving someone advice can remind me hoe that could work for my situations. Oh! Well, it will be at least 7 days from your first dose to feel better, and for most people, 4 weeks. With that said, hang in there and know we are here. And I am certain the counselor will really help your adjustment to the meds! Great you are here. Most of us have been exactly where you are and can, and want to helo in any way we can.
