Day 4 of new blood pressure med i feel like I’m dying I can’t tell if it’s a side effect or bad anxiety or a lil bit of both I just wanna go back to bed but I gotta try to eat something I feel like I’m into the deep end, may I ask what scary symptoms you guys get, do your blood pressures rise? I dunno anymore

Did you read the side effects for your new meds?. It might be side effects until your body gets used to them. They are now regulating your blood pressure. Maybe you just have to get used to them. If they keep making you sick go see your doctor again on Monday. Maybe those side effects are making your anxiety worst.

That's anxiety trying to take over. Don't let it. You have to say I'm going Tuesday can't wait to get there so I can make sure these meds are working good. If you keep thinking like that it will get worst, trust me I know. I'm always with those worries and negative thoughts but I know I have to fight through them. If you feel like your symptoms are very severe then go to the emergency room to ease your mind.

Anxiety can certainly make your blood pressure go up. It takes a while for any new med. to take effect and during the transition period, there may be side effects. Anxiety will magnify and misinterpret various bodily sensations into something dangerous. Anxiety is not dangerous; it can't hurt you. It is just very uncomfortable. If you can calm your body and mind and just let the symptoms occur (oh, there is that anxiety again kind of reaction) the anxiety will decrease.

Yes, Ativan helps to take the hyper anxious feeling away. Perhaps you should have a chat with your doctor about the meds. for anxiety. All the best.
