Found myself starting to overthink on negative thoughts, so I stopped. Read my vision board, and did some meditation. I'm happy I recognized it and re-focused. Hope everyone can have a positive take from today as well!

I recommend 10 minutes of meditation, it helped me to refocus. It might help you.

I do try to do breathing exercises but struggle sometimes when my anxiety is bad.

I hear ya, sometimes it seems all you're doing is trying to refocus and be positive. But everything still takes a turn. Those are the times/days that take constant effort.

Hi Awins4, You did well in redirecting your negative thoughts. Anxiety will always try to test us. I use meditation and deep breathing every day, multiple times a day. I'm always well prepared for what anxiety may throw at me. I'm in control now. Keep Positive :) x

Thanks, today I was feeling a bit defeated. Christmas shopping in bad weather, is instant unhappiness for me haha. I know I'm not alone on that. But I didn't let it, consume me like it usually would have, and I accomplished what I set out for. So I suppose I wasn't completely defeated after all!
