I have battled anxiety and depression for 13 or so years. Will this ever end? It is getting harder to cope. Seems no one understands.

I have been battling it for almost 15 now and just started seeing a wonderful new counselor and will be seeing a psychiatrist for the first time to get help with a daily med. my PC prescribed meds but they made me feel worse, he didn’t feel he was getting the med or dosage right so I finally decided on my own that it was time to see a counselor again and we decided it was time for me to see a psychiatrist that could properly prescribe and monitor my meds. Do you see a counselor at all for yours?

No I went to one for a few months but he wasn’t really an anxiety counselor. They have played with my meds so much that my system is all out of whack. So I’m finally down to just 1 med. Like you I felt horrible on the medicine. I went to psychologist so he couldn’t prescribe anything.

Just through my PC. So far haven’t found a med that works. Taking clonazepam to knock the edge off. Just weaned off Zoloft.
