I have felt a similarly as you expressed. Mine comes and goes depending on my life. I am not where I pictured my life would be at this moment. There's got to be something that makes you happy in life: hobby, activity, work, pet, etc.? It's sometimes easier said than done, but we have to focus on the positives in our lives and do the things that make us happy. It may seem like everyone else is happier and you are stuck in a rut, but try not focusing on others' happiness and strive for your own happiness. These are just suggestions: join the gym, try a new class, although your friends are in a relationship that doesn't mean you can't have a girls or boys night out so plan one with them, take on a new hobby, adopt a pet, etc. There are days I feel under the weather about where life is taking me as well so just know you aren't alone.
It takes a lot of energy and motivation when one is in that state. Sometimes instead of people telling you to do something ( which you already know about ) is not what people need. People need people who are there for them no matter what. Again, I would like to hear from you.
I was recommending things for you to find that will make you happy. What specifically are you looking for to make you happy? Have you thought of hurting yourself at all? It appears you are extremely sad, upset, and hurt since you mentioned you feel like there is no point in living and you are drowning. I would highly recommend seeing a licensed counselor/psychologist in your area as you might benefit more from an in-person session. Expressing yourself online is a great start as you have a support system behind you, but it may not be enough. Keep your head up; things will turn around.
I don't know you and I have reached this website due to having faith and hope to help my partner. He has PTSD and I am trying to be supportive. I have seen him improve despite all the challenges. The reason I am sharing this is to let you know that I see light and possibilities and opportunities for you I have never met you but I am proud of you for voicing out your feelings and reaching out for help. Continue to do so please. If that counselor doesn't respond then try a different one. Someone will listen <3 This is a hurting world we live in, so having some depressive thoughts here and there is normal. You are not alone and this goes out for everyone in this group suffering! You are all SOO SPECIAL! Even if you can't see it now, I know we are all here for a purpose, a gift, to contribute to reduce the polarization, injustice and pain that the world can bring upon everyone. Don't give up You have VALUE and you ARE IMPORTANT
Yet another shooting in the USA, and all congress cares about is lowering taxes for billionaires! They won't even vote on making bumpstocks ( whatever that is) illegal. Call your rep and state your disgust. In our area, they at least have very strict laws.
I think you should try to find another counseling center or be persistent with the place you applied to; keep calling, e-mailing, etc. I think it is important for you to speak to someone in person.
Hi, I'm going through a bad anxiety and depression and on top of it Im dealing with Gastroparesis oh sometimes lifecan be tough but be strong and believe me it's not easy. GOD LOVE YOU and don't you forget that and I love you too. Try doing some meditation and see if that helps, what helps me is saying the rosary everyday, suffering is part of life, maybe reading the Bible? Go online and type in meditation, I wish you love and happiness 💟🙏
