I can't seem to make friends ever since I got sober. My husbands friends girlfriends don't seem to ask me to hang out. I mean we moved an hour away but there's still weekends. I can't seem to make friends at work either. This really sucks,what is so wrong with me. Ugh.. and this is my favorite holiday of the year 😣

Hi It's really difficult to make good friends these days. I am trying an app called Bumble for making new friends and there are not many people on it but I managed to find someone who lives pretty close to me and likes some of the things I like.

You said that you had to get sober, so that means that hopefully you're in rehab and go to meetings. Maybe try to make friends with the people at the meetings.

In the meantime, try to be your own best friend, write in a journal, do things that will make you happy.

How about a cat or a dog?
