Scared to death!!!!

Chest x-ray at hospital today....Scared to death...Bringing up blood in the morning past week...Anxiety/panic at its worst...Don't know how to control my intense feelings...

Aspergirl47, anytime we see blood, our fears soar, that's normal. There may be many reasons in this happening. The chest x-ray should show some clear cut evidence as to what is going on. It is not always a bad thing. It could be bronchitis causing a little blood in the sputum looking like more than it is. Severe coughing fit could cause a little burst in a small blood vessel. Let us know when you get the results as to how you are doing. Meanwhile, try using some relaxation techniques on YouTube that hopefully will bring down some of your intense feeling right now. Keep telling yourself that you will be okay. One step at a time. xx

Thank u Agora1...I had the x-ray taken yesterday and they said to contact the Dr in a week but if I hear from them before that then its something needing urgent attention..im dreading getting a phone call...feel so scared...some blood came up today again...I'm trying to take on board what u have said and it has been really helpful...I have Aspergers and sometimes it can be difficult to be rational...I have just done some deep breathing exercises following a video and its calmed me a little...You give such good advice...youre a good person...will let u know when results are through...Hugs xx

Aspergirl47, the forum is your safety net. We are always hear to listen. Please do let us know when the results are in. Meanwhile, continue using the videos to calm your thoughts some. Even momentary respite from worry helps. Good Luck xx

Hi Agora1 I'm so glad I found this site, it gives me comfort I will leet u know when the results come through, hopefully its not as bad as my mind is trying to tell me..I will try to keep up the relaxation videos in the meantime...Hugs xx
