anxiety and depression

hi! i am new here, just joined infact. i have anxiety disorder and severe depression. anxiety disorder is genetic but it all increased 10 times after a very horrible breakup with the man i thought i will marry and then family pressure into joining a public servant career. lost friends and screwed up relationship with family so much that my mother called me her mistake. i am here to connect with people like me, who have been through this or are still going through anxiety and depression and to find the path to recovery.

I had no idea that anxiety disorders could be genetic.

I've lost a lot myself. My job, my friends and am not as close to many family members as I used to be. So I can relate to you myself.

That's awful that your own Mother would call you her mistake. That's pretty sour.

sorry about your job, family and friends. this happens very often to people who have anxiety/depression that they lose friends, close ones. mostly because people dont want to understand how hard everything is for a person with anxiety and depression
