So tired

Lately it feels like I'm pissing everyone off. It feels like everyone is pissing me off. I don't feel heard. I don't know what to say. I don't know what I need.

I feel so frustrated. Patience is wearing thin.

Depression sucks.

Hi sorry to hear this. Using foul language isn't allowed on this site though so I would be grateful if you would amend the swear words out of your post. Thank you.

You do know Zachary because it's been mentioned enough times in here hasn't it? Even though I mentioned it to the poster that it is not allowed you still did it anyway!

You don't have to leave coz I will if this continues and I expect all others who think like me might too. Then you can have a site just for the youngsters who like to f and blind all the time.

I'm sorry lilaclil that swearing is a trigger for you. I didn't notice it. I was brought up not to swear and I hate to hear it but I must confess that I do have my moments and I want to shut myself in a room and scream at the moment!. Life is so different for everyone as are our upbringings.

As we log into this site perhaps new users could receive a little warning message re language to save anyone being insulted or offended as I'm sure it's not deliberate.

We've all had such different life experiences.

It is very clear in the rules but unfortunately many people don't seem to read them or think that they apply to them as well. It's been said enough times on here for those who have been here for a while to know this but they don't think or obviously care about other people.

I shouldn't have sounded off but I am so sick of coming in here and seeing all the swearing. I can't use the site like this so will have to leave unless it stops.

It will get sorted -- I'm sure no one wants to upset you or prevent you from going on the site. We all sound off one way or another. Take care.

You are so right. Depression does suck. It literally sucks the life out of some of us. It sounds like you're asking some of the right questions. One thing that is helpful for me when I'm feeling terrible is to minimize the scope of the question. So, instead of "what do I need (in my life) ?", which can be overwhelming to contemplate, I'll ask "what do I need right now/today, to be safe and take care of myself? " Identifying and taking smaller steps also gives me something to accomplish and feel good about when I'm not otherwise inclined to cut myself any slack.

I'm sorry you're going through this. Keep on keeping on. You will feel better one day. Take care.

Depression plays with our mood, which influences our thoughts, which influences our actions, which can influence our mood. It's a cycle. I used to ask myself, "What is going to make me respect myself the most right now?" It broke through those thoughts and also kept me from doing things that made me feel worse. I know that doesn't always work, but it's a tool that sometimes does!

Depression is a cruel and painful illness that's hard for people to understand unless they have it. Please take good care of yourselves and know that you are important and cared about here.

I think I understand what your brain is doing to you, but please curb the swearing it is offensive. I think it sounds like you need clinical help, I have had it for 30 years on and off and it helps along with the med,s I need. So please for your sake go and get help. Do not be afraid, they are there to help us, would not be without one myself. Love your self and let someone help get the anger out. There is a good book (I read it years ago) called "The Angry Book" I found it very helpful. Also helped being in group therapy as we worked on anger issues.

I hardly ever get angry any more a nice relief. Good luck, sincerely Sprinkle 1
