Well, you are not alone we all feel like this from time to time.
What is important is that you do something to take your mind off what is concerning you because the more you sit and think about it the more your thoughts will run away with you.
I find that going for a walk or reading or listening to music or cleaning takes my mind off things.
I have also tried just writing out whatever is going through my mind. When I write I don't over analysis what I am writing down, I just write is what is in my head until I feel that there is nothing left to write out. Then I go and do some breathing exercises to calm me and I then go through what I have written when I am calmer. Sometimes I don't even need to read what I've written because just getting the thoughts out of my head then that is all I need to stop the cycle of going over and over the situation.
