Hello I really need some advice and feedback about good things to do when you are thinking of suicide or your negative thoughts take you into a downward spiral in your mind? what are some things I can do differently during the day to change that when suffering from depression and anxiety.

Hi I have had suicidal feeling throughout much of my life and what I do is decide every morning that today won't be the day I do it. This then leaves me free to live the day without keep thinking about it.
When this doesn't fully work I will look at suicide sites at how to do it etc. By the time I have realised how difficult it is and that there are no painless methods advertised I have gone right off the idea. x
