I apologize for positing so much. This is just a great outlet for me. I was able to get out of bed and shower and eat some toast for breakfast. My stomach hurts because I am so anxious. At this point I don’t even know what I’m anxious about which makes me feel so dumb. I guess what’s causing me the most anxiety right now is eating because I don’t want to throw up or feel sick.

I feel like I am disappointing everyone
You won’t disappoint anyone here. It’s a place where toucan share what’s going on with you. You will get a variety of responses to whatever you post. Hopefully some of those replies will be helpful. Take what you need and leave the rest.
I always felt like I was disappointing everyone But came to learn that I was disappointing myself. I was not practicing self care. Once I began to do that I discovered I don’t really owe anyone anything. I owe it to myself to be as kind and courteous as I can be towards others. Because it’s good for my well being.
I owe it to myself to be as authentic as I can be. And that makes me a better human being too.

when I feel anxious I find it very difficult to eat, but I find just a piece of toast does settle my stomach.
thank you so much. I have Zantac which my therapist recommended for me. Is extra strength so it says I can only take it twice a day. Are you familiar with Zantac?
For sure. Zantac should work, but may take a little longer and require an empty stomach. I take Omeprazole daily but when my acid is out of control, I still pop a Pepcid for faster relief per my GI doc. It's just chewable. Virtual hug!

No need to apologize for how often you post. We are here for each other. Anxiety related to eating is pretty common. If you're able to eat anything, that's a big step. Eating still makes me anxious because of the side effects. I'm able to do better with soups and yogurts. Someone said baby food will work too. I've gradually made progress, so I give it time and keep doing the best I can. Are you staying hydrated? That can help. I drink herbal tea, water, and Boost for more nutrition. You're on the right path. Keep going.

That's perfect as it has good protein too! It's one of my favorites....
what do you think about trying a little pasta for dinner?
That is a go to for me. I tend to digest egg noodles the best but pasta and white rice sit well in the belly. I keep it bland as to not aggravate any symptoms. I took a risk taking my kiddos to Hibachi.....I had a few bites and became very sick. My body just isn't used to too much flavor anymore.
