What I tend to do is go to the gym and work out , to overcome bad thoughts. Walking or running also.

I find that this does relieve me of some anxiety, I feel more free when I'm walking but I have mental battles with my depression trying to take me down and stay at home.

Yes I joined a gym and it was helping me until I hurt my back. I was in great pain for months; now I'm nervous to do anything that may flare it up again since I have bulging discs

Thanks for inspiriting us! I know I need to do this, I just don't. I'm older now and it's a little harder to get started as I'm afraid of pulling muscles. I'm going to find a workout buddy and try to get going slow and safely.
