At a tender age as an adolescent I suffered from depression which lead to failures in school from elementary to high school. I regained focus later in life and begin to make better choices in my life moving forward. It was not until my soon to be wife told me she was pregnant that I became ultra responsible for our well being. As I have gotten older I suffered from mental illness / bi-polar depression, PTSD post traumatic stress disorder, and anxiety because I had too much on my plate between my past, present and future worries of my career, family life, spiritual life, etc. I almost committed suicide because the pressures of life seemed too much to handle for me at the time. Fast forward to today, thanks to all of the doctors, nurses, psychologists, psychiatrists, counselors, peers and family whom help me recover to a new and improved me.

Hi LLA1. What I loved about reading your story was, I could feel from it that you have strength, courage and hope. I know how difficult it will have been for you, but you have found the strength to keep going and embrace the support available to you.Everything you have done to make positive change in your life takes courage and you have that for sure! Moving forward with your determinism and with the help and support you have from all those you mention is wonderful, and it is what having hope in your heart means to me. I believe we must always have hope. It is the one thing we can believe in, and we find that there really is 'light at the end of the tunnel'. I hope for you that as you continue your journey through life, that you can take pleasure from all the things that matter to you.Well done on the 'improved you' and my sincere best wishes 🙂 Thank you for sharing xx
