Problems with my menstrual cycle

Can anxiety and depression shorten my period? I've read up that it's not healthy to have a period for one or two days.

Women's cycles can be all over the board as far as time and flow. Has known to stop all together for gymnasts because of something to do with such low body fat in relation to muscle...or something along those lines. My body had a wicked sense of humor and rarely had a cycle my whole life....and all the tests came back normal, all hormones were normal...just one condition the specialist know can happen but not know why (and I have never even been on parallel bars!)...I was able to get pregnant. Was put on a very low dose of birth control to cause a cycle to release blood build up once a month.

Now, if you skip more than a month or two, yes...that's probably not anxiety...it's something else very special.

You may want to have your gyn check up for this year if you are still concerned. Best wishes.
