Hello to All ! This of course is my first post. I have Anxiety Disorder and Panic Attacks. It is now 2:45pm. This morning I had full blown panic attacks. I have had a lot of problems lately with panic and anxiety. As All of you also do. I have 2 wonderful cats who love me unconditionally and whom I love the same. They own the house and just let me live here. Or so they think, Raggamuffin took over my Lazy Boy chair. She is my female, Squeakers is my male cat. They were both strays until I took them in. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I trust them more than most people. My Therapist suggested I have something soothing to look at when I wake up in the morning. So I am going to get a small tattoo of a dragonfly on the inside of my right wrist. Along with the word Hope and a semi-colon. If any of you have any more suggestions for my morning anxiety and panic, I would like to hear them. I am happy to meet All of You. Thank you for listening. Love ya, Cynndrs

Im sorry to hear of your depression and panic attacks,Im an older person and I also adore cats as well as other animals---Its quite hard to focus on something to get your mind calmer though its not impossible---there is a Dr Claire Weekes who was a pioneer in the sense she brought some practical answers to Anxiety-panic attacks and other associated illness--she is online and Im sure she can give you insight as to the ways our nervous system responds to various fight and flight ..look her up ,she is invaluable and helped me tremendously ,Where Gps could not I have Generalised Anxiety disorder also a mild personality diorder--I think you said you had ,so if you feel like chatting sometime -I am in UK timespan different----but IMalways here to help.
