Diagnoses..

I was just recently diagnosed with postpartum depression and anxiety.. I started taking citalopram and strangely felt immediately relaxed.. I was nervous and extremely embarassed to get help, I have been overly anxious for years the depression started after my kids.. I guess what I'm saying is if you need help don't be afraid to get it, whatever that may be... My mom has anxiety but refuses to be medicated and thus why I was afraid to seek help for fear of being judged... If you need help do it and don't worry about others opinions.

Good to hear you took this step and sought out help. I just joined today and it is so helpful to know that I am not alone.

Stay strong! I've also read that journaling helps. I may try that as well (as long as I know it can never be read!) Take care!
