Anxiety About interviews
I am on the other side of the table as you during interviews, in the one doing the interviewing. However it is COMPLETELY normal for people to be anxious, worried, and apprehensive during an interview. You're going to be anxious and worries but do not let that get you down. 9/10 people are super anxious about interviews you're not alone!
I'm always super anxious during interviews, and public speaking in general - but I try not to think about it (which of course happens). I just try to prepare myself - go back over past job duties and think of some general questions (what's your strength and weaknesses and other fun interview questions :D) just in case they ask. I do that a couple times over, so I'm prepared if they ask, and then leave it. Try and do something relaxing the night before the interview. Then day of, just try and be as confident as you can. As for anxiety occurring after you start a job - maybe try and exercise or do something physically tiring after work (garden, ride bike, take dog for walk if you have one). It helps me get my mind off things, and I sleep better. Hope that helps.
It's all about preparation and lots of it. Everyone is nervous in an interview, including the interviewer. For free interviewing help, find a One-Stop Career Center in your area (careeronestop.org/localhelp...
