Bathroom...I seem to always be looking for a bathroom in my dreams. I am not sure I have ever found a bathroom in my dreams that made me feel comfortable enough to use it.

I have had that recurring dream too!

Not sure exactly what it means, but I suffer from anxiety and depression.

I DID also have social anxiety but, when I started going to support groups, I have become a bit more outgoing, although I don't think I will ever be comfortable with Public Speaking or even being really outgoing at parties. I'm still not comfortable at parties but can now handle meetings, groups of like-minded people and just talking with just about anyone in general.

I think the dream might have to do with fear of what people might think of us which relates to social anxiety.

It's kind of harrowing actually. I never find one clean enough or in a private setting.

I have had the same dream. like others the bathroom is always either gross or most commonly out in the middle of public. Like the toilet will be in the middle of a park or crowded bathroom with no doors or stalls just a toilet.

When you have the dream do you wake up feeling anxious or panicked? I ask because I have been woken up by a panic/anxiety attack. So I was wondering if these dreams cause problems.

Sometimes I wake up anxious. Sometimes I get angry in my dreams and lash out.

I've had the same dream. I think it's fear of exposure. Someone will find out what we're really like.
