Eye bags, dark teeth and lousy skin from Nubeqa?

Update: since there weren’t any serious answers, I found some additional info to answer the questions:

google.com/gasearch?q=Does%...

Does Nubeqa and other second line AR chemo drugs cause eye bags, dark teeth and bad looking skin? I can’t believe how my appearance has deteriorated the past year or two since taking Nubeqa. Maybe zytiga and xtandi etc cause this too.

Or could it be from a vitamin of mineral imbalance. Fyi -My psa is very low right now.

From ai:

"Nubeqa (darolutamide) is known to cause several side effects, but eye bags, dark teeth, and lousy skin are not commonly reported. Common side effects include fatigue, skin rash, and nausea"

I saw that before i posted here. That’s why i was curious about guys taking these meds. Eye bags, cracked lips, skin issues, dark teeth won’t usually be included in clinical testing tracking.

I have eye bags caused by getting old. Very happy to be getting old. I don't really like how I look but I could care less what somebody else thinks.

Lol. Shades work for that too. I'm happy where they are.

I’m still middle aged and o think the medicine is causing most of the problem.

Just for the record, there are many sides effects thst have not been reported or updated in the drug makers monogram- which is total bullshit but it is the way it is.

Try to remember we are very sick guys and our bodies are breaking down so I suggest you do NOT sweat the small stuff!

LIVE LARGE with what you have left in your tank!

HAPPY NEW YEAR BOYS AND ROCK ON UNTIL YOU DROP!

Try a hot moist face flannel on the eyes for five minutes, or you can get a microwaveable pad.

Also a spray on moisturiser for the skin.

In that same vain, try one of those whitening toothpastes or get a professional whitening job done. During the winter I also need a moisturizer for inching on my legs. Wife tells me to reduce hot water in the shower. Not found of that idea.

yes I have skin issues. Dermatologist said use copious amounts of unscented lotion to affected areas. For me that’s my forehead and I have had an excess like rash on my lower back which required a prescription ointment for a couple of weeks. That was a one off though.

My husband has beautiful unwrinkled, unbaggy skin at 78- despite almost 12 years of these drugs. But he is black and there is some truth to the saying “Black don’t crack”.

I have skin issues and am also un daro, but i attribute it to low T caused by Orgovyx so i now take a low dose 0.025mg E2 patch once per week. I am on third week but i noticed huge change in mood, energy and i hope my skin clears up soon. RBC will also increase, along with bone density.

Yes. I was on Orgovyx/Nubeqa for one year. I exercised regularly. My complexion became ashen and gaunt and slightly greenish, my cheeks no longer ruddy. I looked (and was) tired all the time.

Now six months off of them my complexion is completely restored.

I’m assuming this was all anemia induced by pelvic radiation, Orgovyx, and Nubeqa.

The teeth, however, stayed the same throughout.

I’ve haven’t had those issues, but I’ve noticed my fingers go numb quite often (as in fall asleep) not sure if any relation and my blood pressure is all over the place.

Maybe a drug interaction?

My understanding is that the hormone drugs also reduce any estrogen men would normally have - I can tell you for sure that my skin changed a great deal going through menopause! I had always had gorgeous skin - not so much any more, it's rough and dull. My husband and I joke now that we are BOTH "post-menopausal women"!

Almost a year in on Lupron/Abi and I have definitely noticed skin changes (among other things...). Crows feet on my face, wrinkly neck and dryness. Starting to take some steps to address so we'll see what happens. I'll look up the Estradiol patches, too.
