PSA bump

Morning warriors,

I’m stage 4 with extensive metastatic in bones and lymph nodes. I completed my 6th chemo with docetaxel on Sept 19. I’m on lupron and started Zytiga but it impacted my liver so I stopped Zytiga for now until my liver gets better. My next lupron injection is next Tuesday Oct 4.

My PSA history is:

28/2 : 835

19/4: 117

27/5: 19.04

13/6: 385

8/7: 0.72

19/8: 0.61

26/8: 0.41

16/9: 0.37

26/9: 0.45

PSA numbers were doing pretty well but I had a PSA test today and results have bumped up as shown above.

My expectation after chemo is that my PSA would drop even further but this doesn’t seem to be the case.

Should I be concerned?

All feedback, suggestions welcome.

Thanks

Perhaps it will decline or stabilize when you are able to resume Zytiga or switch to one of the others (Xtandi or Erleada).
