Zinc and Selenium

Got my blood test results for zinc and selenium today. Both are close to the lower end range, but still within normal. Shall I supplement or leave it there? I read contractionary studies. Any advice or even evidence?

Google on selenium and Brazil nuts. NIH has a good write up.

Yes, I‘m aware of Brazil nuts. I‘m just not sure, if selenium and zinc should be kept a lot lower levels (same as B12).

Why keep these at a lower level? As far as I know, data shows all 3 are needed. Am I wrong?

I let my husband eat no more than one or two Brazil nuts at a time. I looked into this several months ago and decided that selenium is best kept low or taken from diverse diet. health.harvard.edu/blog/sel...

My take is one Brazil nut + 30 mg zinc + zinc ionophore Quercetin daily. Assuming zinc is good against PCa, which is not proven
