Hey everyone- this is my first post to this site. After some brief hematuria, a bladder mass was discovered by cystoscope inside the bladder, not the bladder neck. Already been thru bladder neck BCR. I have a Turbt scheduled later this month for biopsy and possible removal. My last psa was .01 at the end of February. The surgeon states the mass does not look like bladder cancer. I am concerned that it may be bladder cancer or prostate cancer metastasis not expressing psma? I understand it is rare for PCa to be inside the bladder.
Has anyone here had a similar situation?
Thanks

Yes, my husband had a "mass" in his bladder, it blocked his urethra and his bladder felt like it was ready to burst. As he's lying on the bed in the ER, suddenly urine was flowing out everywhere. I'm grabbing those blue bed pads to sop up the urine which was all over the place. What had happened is the blood clot, the "mass", settled to the bottom of his bladder which cleared his urethra and his bladder expelled the urine. When Les, my husband, got any kind of a bladder infection he'd bleed. (Bactrim takes care of the infection quickly) His urologist reamed out the urethra which had scar tissue build up. He did it twice that week and unfortunately, a bit too much. Les has been totally incontinent ever since.
This happened to me. My Prostate cancer marched up and into my bladder. The mass blocked the urteral entrance from my left kidney. It happens and is treatable if you get it in time. DD 😎
Thank you for your reply. I hope we have it in time.
I had of tumors on my urethra and on the bladder. I don’t think that it was inside it however. None of this is good. Our urology is so crucial to work right. I did imrt Lupron and another test adt drug to date that is not available today. You might need chemo or Rt also. I’m no doc. But you need to put this down hard in the first round. Not fully knowing what to expect is the worst part of this journey. Hopefully You will get clarity soon .. welcome aboard ! Good luck Scott
