Good morning everyone. After a 1 month delay between 4&5 we finished the last dose on Friday. I was really surprised they gave it to me. My WBC was 1.8, ANC .6 and platelets at 42. The RO said he spoke with my MO and they both agreed since it was the last one to finish. I’ll find out Wednesday what my blood counts look like. Other than the normal fatigue I haven’t had any other side effects. The good news is I haven’t taken any hydrocodone since last Tuesday. I felt it was time to take a break from the narcotics. So far I’m doing fairly well without any. I’m thankful to have completed it and med time to sped up so we can do a PET scan in December to see how things look.
I appreciate you all and pray that you have a good week.

Good to hear.I know this isn't a trial you entered but none the less when you and others take on tough treatment like this and report on how it goes I feel a need to thank you.
This treatment might be in the cards for me someday.
Do they have anything to give you to get your blood numbers back to where they should be ?
I'm no Dr. but dropping the Narco's and not having pain has to be a good sign.
Hello I was wondering how did Xofigo work for the pain did it get better or about the same is it still there? My dad might be getting it the doctor claims it will help with his bone Mets pain but my dad is suspicious since they told us after radiation he would be feeling better and he hasn’t. Thank u
Good morning. Initially I did have an increase in bone pain the RO had said that was normal. It has gotten better. The main thing has been monitoring my blood counts weekly. My main issue right now is some pain in the heels of my feet. I would recommend him trying it. I did have some fatigue the first couple days after each dose.
He doesn’t know he’s so weak now he is 83 he can barely tolerate the xtandi he takes which is 2 pills instead of 4 and eliguard and xgeva so I’m assuming you didn’t get immediate results that’s what he’s expecting yes I know that’s crazy
Hey Bigatex how are your blood levels? Dad gets his 5th Xofigo treatment tomorrow, his hemoglobin had dropped to 8.9 after the last one, very tired & his peripheral neuropathy /raynaud's seemed to get worse, over the few weeks he has improved but I'm worried tomorrows infusion will knock him again. PSA was creeping up but bone scan showed stable disease & some healing in some mets.
My HGB was 11.1 the lowest it’s dropped to over the last few months os 10.0. Hopefully he doesn’t have it too bad. My last couple of doses weren’t as bad as the first ones.
