Good morning everyone. I received my lab results back in preparation for round 2 of Xofigo on Friday. My white blood cell count was low, down to 2.2, taking a booster shot tomorrow to address that issue. The Alkaline Photophase is down to 75 and back in the normal range for the first time since before DX. It was 2800 at one point. My PSA level is up to 1.92 but the radiation oncologist told me not to worry about it while going through the treatment.
I agree with many on here who believe in being positive and staying in the fight.
It’s something we must do for our own sanity and our Families. I thank God each morning for waking up and having another day with them. I pray blessings upon each of you and hope you have a great day.

Xofigo (radium 223) does not lower PSA but reduces Bone metastases.
My husband will start this soon. Wondering how do you feel? That is my biggest concern. Right now he feels pretty good as he has been off of chemo for almost 3 months. His PSA is slowly rising, now at 2.2. Did you have any unpleasant side effects? Hope this works for you!! Good luck!
Good morning. I was really tired with an increased amount of bone pain for the first 4-5 days. Then it gets better. With that being said, we’re all different so hopefully he doesn’t have the same experience. I do believe it’s working and will gladly go through the side effects with that in mind.
