Completed 5 months of Taxotere 1/10/25 and stopped Orgovyx and Prednisone (iADT) on 1/23. PSA dropped from 15.5 to 0.07 on 2/20 but rose to 0.17 on 3/20. Don't like the doubling time. MO appt is 4/27 following 4/20 blood test.

Adt, nubeqa and taxotere (6) brough psa to 3.2 last August, 3.3 in Oct and 4.9 end of Dec. Can now feel the pain coming back in my hip and back . Seeing the onco in 10 days, I expect cabazitaxel, anyone had good and lasting results with cabazitaxel?

Will be starting chemo taxotere. Ask question on AI copilot. CR after lupron and zytiga metastatic. Effective for 50% of patients. That sucks

unfortunately his MO was not well versed on triplet therapy; he underwent 6 rounds of taxotere and started on Luperon q3 months. Nadir i believe was about 0.05? numbers began to climb after about 1 year of Luperon; added Erleada.

My MO started me on Taxotere which has dropped my PSA and my anemia is a little better. What I would like to know is should I stop the other drugs? My MO wants me to stop all drugs except the Chemo. Is he correct? Poollover

After ending the Chemo (Taxotere) portion of my Triplet (Orgovyx & Nubeqa) therapy in early Sept, 2024 my PSA bottomed out at .09. Since then, my PSA has risen to 4.10 (December, 2024).

Hey all, I am on dose two of taxotere and today I feel my mouth and especially tongue growing numb. Has anyone else experienced this? Any home remedies? Also feeling light headed. Just wondering how common these symptoms are and when they usually occur and how long before they hopefully leave!

After 12 taxotere 50 mg infusions every 2 weeks and 10 mg prednisone daily My PSA dropped from 15.53 in August to 0.09 on 1/17/25. MO agreed to stop Orgovyx and Prednisone and monitor PSA monthly. I am hopeful that stopping daily prednisone taken since August 2021 will drop some side effects.

Hi all, I went through 4 sessions of Taxotere treatment a year ago, but had to stop due to an infected abcess in my colon that had to be treated and eventually part of my colon was removed. PSA was then stable at around 70 until Dec. last year, but started to rise again after approx. 6 months.

After the Taxotere, it went down to .1 in early September, .09 in late September, .14 in late October and today, November 27th, it spiked to 1.05 (all along staying on the Orgovyx and Nubeqa).

Had first chemo Taxotere 3 days ago. TA suggested chemo in combination with Xtandi extends OS. Would it be a good step to add radiation as 3rd step to clean up any residual? For hopefully a very long remission. Thank you

I am offered simultaneous Taxotere and XMAb20717-04 due to progressive PSA doubling time in <8 weeks from 2 to 4+ This trial is sponsored by Xencor. I would appreciate any information. My recent PMSA-PET showed new tumors and progression.

He explained that we could use Taxotere at a later date when his symptoms demanded it. My understanding is that in his case, chemo works best when administered early.

Taxotere worked well when I was on it a year ago. Six doses got my PSA down to .22. Is Pluvicto my last therapy option?

Started Docetaxel ( Taxotere ) with prednisolone in late June 2022, 6 cycles to October 2022 when stopped both; PSA down to 0.6, and continued to decline for another 6 months when got to its lowest at 0.3.

Hi warriors - my husband and 3.5 months post taxotere chemo. Now on lupron and Nubeqa. He is having pretty severe pain in his hands and feet. We have discussed this with oncologist and he wants us to work with GP until we can see other specialists (rheumatologist and Neurologist).

it’s be nice if i didn’t need a walker at the end of this. even nicer if i wasn’t dead. taxotere isn’t much fun, but i seem to be handling it better than other people who are doing this path.

Initiation of Taxotere and prednisone June 2023, for metastatic disease. Zometa for bone metastases. Treatment holiday March 2024 - May 2024, without evidence of progression. Taxotere had been reduced to 60 mg/m2 dosing.

His Oncologist insisted on him taking chemo using Taxotere which he took 6 rounds of treatment. It did not work as well as expected. This was so he would qualify for Pluvicto treatment. Thank you in advance for any replies.
