Still on ADT and look what it has done :-)

Haha, just kidding. Took my dental staff out and one took a pic with a sex change app and this is the result. Call me Kamlyn!

On a bit more serious note: PSA went to 4.3 from 3.8 last month (T at 17) with T at 8 this time.

7/30/18 - PSA: 5.7

8/20/18 - PSA: 10.7

9/17/18 - PSA: 10.8

11/12/18 - PSA: 10.2

12/14/18 - PSA: 10.2 Restarted Lupron

1/14/19 - PSA: 7.7

2/11/19 - PSA: 6.2

3/11/19 - PSA: 4.4

4/15/19 - PSA: 3.8

5/20/19 - PSA: 4.3

All good tho MO says lets see how long the doubling time is and I said that Zytiga may not be beneficial as T already at castrate level. I'm fine with more chemo (did 15 Taxotere in 2015). Maybe Jevtana or Taxotere again

Mahalo and Fight on y'all. Off home to Hawaii this coming long weekend to spend time with Ohana (family)

Taking same drugs and seeing this picture I'm thinking of having a sex change operation myself. (NOT)

I had to run to the mirror and see what I looked like. Hawaii really sounds nice. If you did 15 taxotere cycles in a row, you are a true marathon runner.

I'd be scared to use that app, I'd probably make a much better looking woman :-P

A couple thoughts come to mind about the PSA:

1) My MO put me on Zytiga even though my T was already very low and PSA almost undetectable. He's doing this based on the "early Zytiga" study results. I've only been on it a week, but it doesn't seem to be affecting my running performance which is still improving after chemo. If your insurance covers it there might not be much downside to trying. It could help if T is being made and used inside a tumor but not escaping into general circulation (my speculation).

2) I asked if exercise could raise PSA levels. My MO, who is an avid cyclist, told me his PSA had hit something like 25. The biopsy only showed "compression necrosis" if I remember the term correctly, but no cancer. Ouch! Think I'll stick to running.

My thought was with my T at 8, that Zytiga would maybe get it T to zero - that still wouldn't really kill off dem b*stards. So, if the PSA gets significantly larger, I hope that Kaiser will allow me to do another round of Taxotere or Cabazitaxel to exterminate those weaker PCa cells. Nomogram stated I had a 6 month doubling time. So, I have time to see what I can do. I'll post in June, after next PSA, if it worked.

I did a Century bike ride and a couple 50 milers and I'd rather be running. I have the Hibiscus 1/2 marathon in HNL this Sunday

Here's hoping it was just a blip and that June PSA comes in really low!
