Is there anyone out there with stable post-radical prostatectomy non zero ultrasensitive PSA levels?
Is there anyone out there that knows or has known someone with stable post-radical prostatectomy non zero ultrasensitive PSA levels?
Or are post-radical prostatectomy non zero ultrasensitive PSA levels always an indication of eventual prostate cancer recurrence?
If post-radical prostatectomy non zero ultrasensitive PSA levels are sometimes harmless I should be able to find someone that has safely traveled this path.
Many speak that low post-radical prostatectomy non zero ultrasensitive PSA levels are often harmless yet I have yet to discover a factual basis for this opinion.
I have my Urologist acknowledging my psa is creeping up BUT.. says it's too low still. But the fact that it's creeping up scares me. I had one of the worlds leading Radiation Oncologist tell me to get to a Radiation Oncologist ASAP. So, I am scheduled to ironically go see the same Radiation Oncologist (Dr. Alex Hsi) who helped with the design of the Oring thing and who just did a 3T MP MRI on my dad (80) who found a small tumor. The leading Radiation Oncologist (Dr. John E Sylvester/Florida) who ironically again started out in Seattle. My dad is now scheduled for the MRI Biopsy and apparently there's only a few folks in the US that know how to do it. I had emailed the 21co.com website and got a response from Dr. Sylvester that I SHOULD go see Dr. Hsi in Poulsbo WA to meet w/him. The fact that this guy replied to me as I was going down kind of the same path, but it's given me peace that I am going to an expert in PC field and if he thinks I need it (IMRT) salvage radiation, based on my PSA scores or says to continue to wait, I am taking his advice on how to move forward. Good Luck! BrianTinsley.com
No. You will always make enough protein to be registered without a prostate even if the cancer is completely gone. Ultra testing causes worry in non-professionals. Your PSA is considered undetectable in the PCa world.
