Had a jump in my PSA ten days ago from 3.9 to 9.5. Being very worried, I asked my oncologist about scanning (about six months anyway). He ordered them, CT and full body bone scan were done Thursday. Good news, no significant changes in my cancer even though the PSA went up. Such a relief. Good things happen. Thank you Hashem.
Diagnosed 7/1/17 PSA 105

Never believed more than I do now. We all need all the help we can get. I will pray for you also Dorke. Maybe it really helps. I am going to Israel December 10 and when I get to the Western Wall, there is no greater experience. I will put a note in the wall for you.
I've been on lupron, pred, zytiga for 6 mos. My med onclologist reduced my zytiga to 750mg/day due to AST/ALT liver function high. I have alot of energy, no fatigue,I work out, bike etc and the only side effects are loss of muscle mass mostly in upper body. Watch what I eat. Have gleason 8 score and have a met in the bone upper body , psa was 34 now .7. Medically Castrated. I'm waiting for results of the new CAT and Bone scans.Doc was talking about high dose radiation to the bone if it hasn't spread. I'm very fortunate and leading a full life for now, thanks to the drugs. Best wishes.
