Glad I found this group

Hi all, I was diagnosed with ADHD in the spring of 2022. It was liberating because I started understanding why I did things that I couldn't control throughout my life. It was frustrating because it took so long for me to find out. I continue to learn about the impact of the condition on my behavior through different resources. I just found this site today and excited to continue to learn.

Welcome! Liberating is exactly the word! I get excited every time I find a new forum for information and exchange with others like me. Until something else catches my attention, and I ignore it for a few weeks, lol! At least nobody here will accuse me of dropping the ball, not finishing what I started with great enthusiasm, or letting them down. It's affirming to belong to a group where people understand that I'm not lazy, crazy or stupid.
