Trying to find an ADHD specialist in Minneapolis area

Hello all, I'm trying to find a ADHD specialist for my 28 Y/O son whose life has finally come crashing down due to inability to function in daily life. We've suspected ADHD since he was young but he seemed to be doing OK until he went to college. The more I learn, the more I suspect that's what is causing his issues. He's gone to his PCP and therapists with little help. I really want him to go to someone who specializes is ADHD for a proper evaluation. Thanks in advance, Jim

I would recommend a full neuro psych exam. We went through the U of M.

Hello PP! I was asking for my son who lives near the cities. He and his family have moved out to a smaller town and that helped a lot just to get rid of the constant noise and chaos of the summer in frogtown. He is doing better but still needs to be evaluated for ADHD. All I can do as a parent is suggest and leave it up to him! Hopefully he'll keep up the positive momentum and work up the courage to continue on his path of learning to live with his challenges. I wish I had more info for you! I'll update as he progresses.

I highly recommend Dr. Vernon Jesse, PhD, LP at Park Nicollet in St. Louis Park for a diagnosis. Here's his bio and contact info:
