Active 10 stopped working on my phone this morning so I followed the advice - delete the app and reinstall. It is working again but all my achievements have been deleted. I was working on the last badge - perfect month- and I feel really cheated. Are my badges stored somewhere? Help please.

They might be stored somewhere in your app, go to a Smartphone store somewhere and ask the experts their if they can retrieve your running achievements.
