Hello
This is my first week and I’ve been doing 15 mins brisk walk. I’m not into Apps but will look for this one.
Give the Active 10 app a try. I found it encouraged me to increase my walking pace. Apparently what I originally thought was brisk was really no more than a stroll.
Thanks for recommendation, I will try it and find out if it will help me.
Hi, I did download the app but then changed my mind. Got out my Nordic poles this morning and walked to friend’s house, chat and low fat coffee, then continued brisk walk on poles. Forgot how slippery board walks are when wet and trying to use poles. Will try different route tomorrow. Anyone else got Nordic poles in the understairs cupboard?!
It's a good app but has made me realise I really don't do any exercise agghhh but using app does work but just had a blip week this week hopefully back on it today
What exercise do you do? Before Lockdown I did two sessions of Easyline gym, Aqua, Hydrotherapy and Tai Chi. Then I stayed in for 10 weeks and just did a bit of gardening and a few exercises in the house. After that I started walking out and felt better. None of my classes have restarted so using my Nordic poles to get a brisk walk, has got me starting to be active again.
Build it up slowly and do what exercise is available and you like.
Yeah worth it
