I'm a keen walker and live in the Midlands though originally from Derbyshire as you may have guessed. Walking is my lifeline and it keeps me constantly enthralled with the English countryside. It also keeps my feet firmly planted on the ground and good evening walks help me sleep well. I try to walk every day and currently I am acheiving this comfortably (27 days).
I love cooking and it's important for my diabetes that I stay on top of what I eat. I've had to introduce breakfasts after walking for two weeks as I started to get hungry in the morning at work... porridge and two boiled eggs seems to have done the trick. I try to cook two new recipes a week ...I'm less successful at this to be honest.
I read a lot. I don't have a television. I play bass, tenor guitars... anything with strings and frets.
Not sure what else to say
