Hi AJ3959, I use the Mapmywalk app to tell me how many steps that I have walked during a walk, if it's 8K/5 miles it's equal to roughly 10,000 steps, although that can vary from person to person.

The Active 10 app only records the minutes you've been brisk warning, if you want to record your steps then you will have to use it in conjunction with another app, such as Pacer or Steps. With one of those you will be able to record the number of steps and posiibly the route you took on your walk.

Search on your relevant App Store and pick an app that fits your needs. A lot of them require a subscription so look out for that, quite a few are free though,

Hope that helps you.
