#photowalk October Lucky Numbers

A walk today to complete our 50k of walking for the month, brollies in hand but not needed.

We strolled along the canal path, retracing the walk we did yesterday, the opposite way around. I noticed the numbers on the lock gates and remembered this photo challenge so here is my number.

We took a turn away from the canal and around a pretty lake and also walked past the first house that we bought in 1981. A real trip down memory lane as we haven't been back for over 20 years.

A lovely Autumn walk to finish the month.

Well, if the people who live there are anything like us, they would be delighted if you did.

We live in a renovated, Victorian Postoffice that had a small shop attached. So we still have people dropping by telling us they bought their regular penny sweets in the shop that was in our house. And it’s always lovely to hear. (They also get a little tour through the open-plan dining and living room, where the tellers and sweet shop was located. We love hearing about their memories about our house! 💛💚🧡)

Lovely photo. Sweet memories.Hubby and I celebrate our 40 th wedding anniversary next year and we still have our love letters we wrote to each other when we were both serving in the army …….awww we were so young 😂😂🥰
