At the end of a long hot day, when there is a party in the next door garden and noise all day, what better way to cool down than a swim in the river while mum and Nannie walk, talk and throw a ball for chasing? Shame one ball bounced into the broad beans.

We had a longer potter along the river where it was cooler this evening, daughter's dog played ball and had a good swim.

Looks like a lovely evening walk and I’m quite envious of the dog! A long hot day indeed. Mine has been very quiet, but right now the wind is blowing the “music” from the Open Air Theatre inland and it is thoroughly spoiling the peace!

Quiet and rest is what you need Sue, I just hope you can pass the time while you heal, take care

They’ve shut up now.. not sure who it was but I think we just got the racket of the bass.. maybe it was good if you were there.. I had tickets for Blondie there earlier in the week but had to sell them because the surgery intervened.. missed my chance as I doubt that she will tour again 😊

Thanks, things are improving..😊
