walks this week

I have done a few early morning 4/5 k and did one this morning . Went to local village along then along riverside, so peaceful , saw the ducks and horses grazing, back up the slop past the bowling club and down the path to the main road. Took couple of photos of sunflowers, still summer here yet even if it is into Autumn now. More of sun next week.

I just love sunflowers. Huh! That gives me an idea where to plant a few more next year! So lovely to have them in a place where everyone can enjoy them !

More lovely photos from you Doris8, nice 5K walk for you, great seeing the ducks and the horses grazing as you walked past, as for me, this morning I went a very short 1K bike ride around the park near to where I live and then got ready for my first chip timed 10K event race, a full report on my run this morning on the Bridge 210K forum, overall it was a good run.

We have shorter, more compact sunflowers in the garden this year. A year or so back we had some real triffids, but this year's are cuddlier! 🤣

I haven’t hear of sunflower called cuddlier but have hear of the brand Dwarf Teddy Bear.

I posted the other day and the image was a close up of Teddy Bear picked in our garden and in a vase in our kitchen!
