Well, this morning, I had the second and final training session for my Nordic Walking explorations. I now know the ten steps taught by the British Nordic Walking Association:
1) Posture
2) Walk
3) Drag
4) Plant
5) Push
6) Extend fully
7) Release fully
8) Swing forward
9) Bend forward
10) Rotate
And after our morning session, I can feel it in my arms, glutes, and toes! As I mentioned before, it feels like a full-body workout, like taking your elliptical trainer for a nice walk outside!
I also used my new sticks… oops…poles. (And Aldi has some at present)
So I’ll be taking them out for a walk again this weekend.
