On your next walks, take a picture of something that has seen a lot of growth, or something that is simply big!
I’ve been recuperating recently from Covid, so a few days away from my garden really brings home the speed of growth in nature around this time of the year.
And when the rains recently arrived, nature seemed to suddenly bounced back with immense growth. My vegetables shot up, and on my last run-walks before I hit the IC, the trails suddenly seemed so much narrower because of the grasses and bushes intruding into this free space. On these runs I often came across a humongous plant of some kind or another, like the nettle in this picture! It had leaves larger than my hand and was as tall as myself!
Triffids, eat your heart out!
So for our July/Aug photo challenge I thought, let’s go “BIG!”
So can you spot something big in your walks?
So feel free to post BIG things found on your walks as a separate post with the hashtag/word #Photowalk in the title of the post. (E.g. ”#Photowalk BIG: Triffidoid Nettles” )
