On your next walks, take a picture of something that repeats, a photo on the theme of repetition.

Hope everyone is having a fabulous May, with lots of sunny walks and lazy garden afternoons!

My garden has exploded, and I repeatedly need to attend to it! But it’s a nice distraction from the usual sitting day job, or even walking or running. Having said that, I’m coming back from a calf injury that I got whilst gardening! Hope that doesn’t repeat!

So for our May/June photo challenge I thought we’d do something abstract: REPETITION!

My own collage in the picture includes patterns that occur in everyday encounters on my running or walking routes. (And a couple of Easter pics) Nothing fancy, nothing special, but if you look closely, suddenly repetitions are everywhere! In the leaves, the grass, the blossoms, even in the shells of snails.

So what May you discover repeating, when you focus on your next walk?

We can post our repetition pictures each as a separate post with the hashtag/word #Photowalk in the title of the post. (E.g. ”#Photowalk June: repeating steps” )

May/June Challenge: take a picture of something that repeats on your next walk.
