#Photowalk Challenge June/July : Critters

Well yesterday I was feeling a little tired but I'm certainly seeing the benefits of my rehab .I was undecided whether I would even get a walk in yesterday .

I'd had a fairly restful day with not many steps and I was beginning to feel guilty about that .

So a quick look in the met office weather app for the area and I noticed the best window for avoiding the rain was 4 and 6pm !

So off we go !

Same route as most of the other walks but it was certainly muggy 🥵

The area under tree cover often has a lot of flying critters around but didn't find anything stationary that I could take a pic of !

However , once I arrived home and collapsed in the chair for 5 minutes I could feel something tickling the back of my hand 🤔

When I looked I saw this little critter that had obviously decided to hitch a lift back to mine , he crawled from the back of my hand onto my wrist and onto my Garmin !

He must have wanted to check his/her steps and VO2 Max 😁

I tried to ID that little black beetle but there are loads of similar ones so I had to admit defeat!
