It's hot out there

Talk about stating the obvious but 27 degrees is hot! My neighbour though still wanted to walk, so off we go, along the road and eventually into the park, I don't know where the tree shade has gone but not on the paths we followed.

Did I say it's hot? We walked, we chatted, we complimented each other and we took photos.

I took the car to the garage this morning and a friend picked me up, we went for a swim and sat on the beach, so quite the social day I've had.

Keep cool all

Great walk and swim for you today Sola, certainly you deserved that swim after your walk in 27C heat..

I agree with oldfloss, sounds like a very pleasant day. I've been to the physio this afternoon, currently on the IC but she hopes to get me back running in 3 to 4 weeks. I've started yoga but not sure I actually enjoy it but it is keeping me going whilst running is off limits and it turns out I know half the class!

Apparently swimming raises my heartrate as much as running does, yes I'm getting loads of steps and feeling fitter
