hi went out at 6.20am before it got too hot. Mostly on tarmac beside road and walked 5 km to local town , then down by local rugby club and up to the station , and on way home after that. Only said morning to 2 people not many people out but it was cooler then. I walked the 10:km In 1hour 34 mins. A brisk walk. Back for shower and still have my porridge even in this weather with my fresh fruit.
Sitting out this afternoon legs not very brown with working indoors all the time, so out to get some vitamin D and hopefully we get some of this rain due.
enjoy your weekend ☀️😊

Good 10K Sunday morning walk for you today Doris8, nice and early to avoid the heat, remember I told you yesterday that I was going to go a 15K 🚲 bike ride, the weather was sunny and not too warm, so nice that I extended the bike ride to 17K, the last 3 or 4 kilometers around the same route as I run on a Wednesday morning.
I tried a slow jog in one part but I found I was quicker walking , better on joints. That was one of my quicker walks today not like that all the time.
Yes like the early mornings. Send some of your blueberries up here. Lovely on porridge
Well done, but I do wonder if you don't exert yourself too much walking so fast in these temps (even that early)? Of course my fast is your slow, so maybe you don't feel it as much as I would.
Do take some vitamine D in my stead, I have to avoid the sun thanks to a new skin issue I have. Sun now gives me a load of bobbles on my face and neck. Fun...
Hi the temperature on Sunday early was 12 degrees C or 53.6F quite cool., but warmer in afternoon In Scotland Today was out before work only 9 degrees , did 5 km. I take Adcal which is calcium and vitamin D daily for bones osteoporosis., Sunday was one of my quicker walks but don’t go that pace all the time. During week slower. I don’t sit in sun very often as working 6 days a week 9/4 , but have arthritis and seeing if heat would help. But finding heat make hands really sore and start burning same as cold, can’t win. The joys of getting older. .
