Me and Mr D decided to walk to Camara de Lobos as it was a lovely sunny day. We walked along the promenade this time instead of the main road as not as many hills. Plenty of people on this promenade route, joggers walkers etc. The top photo I took was walking along the long prom , and Camara in the distance. The 2 nd photo is of the village. All the boats in just now as fishermen not put. There seem to be plenty of men hanging around the local bars either coffeeing or drinking beer. It is a fisherman’s. Village . Winston Churchill went to Camara de Lobos. Restaurant named after him . We came back the same route and took photo of people in the sea. Not as rough the sea today,, then the steep climb back up to the road . weather has been perfect all through the holiday. Back for a sport of lunch chicken salad and back to balcony to unwind. ☀️

You seem to have had a lovely day although it must have been a long walk from the looks of it. Nothing like company to make the road seem shorter, easier and enjoyable.

That looks like a beautiful place to walk, and swim, and run, and relaxingly sip coffee on the balcony … mmmhhhhh 😊

no shortage of walkers runners here. They do a city run here 6km on 28th December around Funchal with all the Xmas lights, it’s a hard run, done it twice, Mr D was running this year but pulled out half way through with sickness , he was gutted. Always next year .
