This morning my App has been replaced and a months worth of exercise has been lost. Totally dispiriting when it meant to be encouraging.

Welcome to the forum DER54 I don't know if you are using Android or iPhone operating system. It seems that the latest Android version was updated on 23rd July has caused some issues a subsequent update on 29th July, according to a reviewer has fixed some of the issues.
I have just updated the app on my Android and apart from the new title page everything including my previous walking data is still there. If you are using the latest version and you still have issues, contact the developer Public Health England directly at oneyou@phe.gov.uk
