Keeping on Moving!

Hi, this is my first day. I need to get moving more! I started my diet/Healthy Eating, last week and after a week of being good, I had only lost 1lb. I have been told by a Doctor to loose, 1 stone, so I must make an effort even with my RA to walk to my 4000 steps every day. good to know others are making the effort to do this too :-)

A pound a week is a decent result. That's a stone gone by Christmas. What you eat probably has more effect on weight than exercise does. But walking is good for general fitness so whatever you can manage will help.

I've had RA for many years but I'm lucky, mine is now well controlled and losing some weight definitely did help with that. So I wish you the very best of luck.

Oh thank-you for the encouragement message. I to now after nine years have Toficitinab drug which is controlling it the best so far. Its true even if a 1lb or 2 a week, I would lose it by Christmas. Thanks.
