It was a lovely day today - chilly, but not too cold, so I walked down to our local veggie shop so I had the wherewithal to make a pot of soup when I got back. I felt really good and managed a respectable pace over the 3000 steps! Then I did what may be the daftest thing I've done in a while (hopefully not!). My car needs to have it's MOT and service next month, so because I was feeling so good, I booked it in at the local garage for the 10 April. Problem is, the garage is at the bottom of a really steep hill and I'll have to walk up it after I drop off my car - I've only conquered this hill once, with difficulty! Optimistic hey? Oh well, it's a challenge!

Maybe daft!
There is time for a little bit of training to get you ready. Any chance of a bus route on your path for a back up or a coffee half way? Either way if you take it at your own pace and do some training I am sure you will be fine.
No bus - no coffee shop either; ( But come hell or high water I'll climb that hill!!!
Is there anywhere to tether a long rope at the top of the hill and pull yourself up?
Hahaha - I'm glad I'm not the only daft one!
You may laugh but if that's what it takes...
You might raise a smile in passers by and that's no bad thing.
Have a good Friday tomorrow.
You too mdr1000 - I'll probably still be laughing at the mental image!! You've so cheered up my evening!!
You can take as long as you need to get up that hill. Sometimes an extra push like that is a wonderful thing.
Absolutely runswithdogs - thanks for the encouragement!
