I have 4 bypasses and I am 80 years old. Is this good for me?

Take it slow and steady. Any health concerns check it with your GP or nurse. Work on the walking time first and then build up with the speed. We will be here to support you along the way.
Hi Tommaso! It's admirable that you want to get fitter after the health issues you have had! As Rfc says, check with your doctor before changing your exercise routine, but I think that starting slowly with gentle walking should be given the ok!
You can set goals that are realistic for you. After getting clearance from the doc , start slow, with something just a little more than you currently do on a normal day. Slowly and surely we can build up more time or speed. But a gentle start is what works for everyone.
Thanks for the advice. I have been walking from 3 to 6 km per day since the operation 4 years ago and I am able to climb the 4 floors to my apartment very fast. Does this count as brisk walk?
Go for it but slowly build up is best. I’m 64 and you got to respect your age even if you still feel 20 you are not. Lol
