Hi Mangal - welcome to the forum! Watching what you eat and getting more exercise really does work. In the 7 months I've been a member of this group I've gone from 200 to 3000 steps and have lost 22 lbs! I couldn't have done it alone - the support I've had from the lovely members of this group have encouraged me to carry on! We'll be here for you every step of the way!
Hi Mangal1 good luck.I am determined too. Have started and failed too many times. Have walked to the dentist this morning instead of taking the car.

Hi Neela47 - you'll be amazed at how walking changes your mood and that somehow affects your eating habits! Every member of this forum is on their own individual journey - some walk for miles and others struggle to walk to the end of the road. But one thing we all have in common is that we support each other, so post often and you'll find you get a lot of encouragement! Good luck!
New too! Am trying to keep off the booze, walk more and eat a bit more sensibly. Small changes that I can sustain I hope!
